The Journey to Print (aka My Super Frustrating Year)

Hey, everyone!

If you’ve been wondering about the future of the Siren’s series in print (and where I’ve disappeared to lately), I owe you an update. Behind the scenes, I’ve been working on something that felt like a dream come true: a chance to see Siren’s Mark and Siren’s Fall in print! Yes, real-life physical books. I was over the moon about the opportunity and signed a contract with a publisher, imagining the thrill of holding my stories in my hands—and knowing you could too.

But sometimes, life throws a plot twist you don’t see coming. The publisher had to make internal cuts and decided to cancel my contract at the very last minute. I was absolutely heartbroken. It felt like watching a dream slip through my fingers after getting so freaking close. UGGH!

So, what now? After some time to regroup (and a lot of drowning my sorrows in desserts), I’ve decided to take matters into my own hands. Self-publishing is really freaking hard, but it’s the one option where I get to call the shots—and finally give you the print copies you’ve been asking for!

Over the next few months, I’ll be prepping Siren’s Mark and Siren’s Fall for publication (again). I'm tweaking a couple of minor things to make the stories even smoother, but don’t worry—nothing major is changing. I plan to release them in 2025, though I can’t give you an exact date just yet. Newsletter subscribers will get the inside scoop on my progress, and I’ll be sharing updates on Instagram too.

For now, the books will stay on Wattpad. That might change depending on how the publishing process goes, but I’ll keep you in the loop.

I know not everyone will be able to afford the print versions, and I’ll do my best to make them as affordable and widely available as possible. Even if a purchase isn’t in the cards for you, your support—whether it’s a like, a share, or a kind word—means the world to me.

I’m still sad about the lost opportunity and honestly totally scared about going solo. But I’m hopeful too. Because at the end of the day, I write for you. Your love for these stories has carried me through this rollercoaster, and I can’t wait to share this next chapter with you.

Thank you for being here.

Love always,

Lux

Oh and P.S., during all this I’ll be posting a new book on Wattpad too—specifically that Morgan spin off you’ve all been asking for!
